The summer heat spares no one, including live plants. The heat is especially merciless towards flowers. Although it might seem that warm weather should only favor growth, flowers wilt at an incredible speed during the summer.

So, what should you do if it's hot outside, but you still want to please your loved ones? Based on six years of personal experience working with flowers, the Cadouri.md team has prepared a TOP-6 list of solutions to this problem.

Eustoma - the most resilient flower for the summer period. The season for Moldovan eustoma begins in mid-June and lasts until the end of August. Thanks to its blooming season coinciding with hot weather, eustoma is quite sturdy. In a vase, it can last from 5 to 10 days. Wedding bouquets made of eustoma are also among the most resilient, with a bouquet lasting at least 4 hours without water, which is excellent for weddings.
Alstroemeria - also among the most resilient flowers. Alstroemeria doesn't have a specific season and can be easily found in free sale. Since it grows in Moldova, it adapts well to heat. A bouquet of alstroemeria can easily withstand a long trip without water and will delight your loved ones in a vase for about 10 days.
Gladiolus - a seasonal flower that handles heat well. If you choose gladiolus as a gift, pay attention to the flower's freshness. Ideally, a stem should have 3-4 open flowers and 5-6 still closed. Maintaining this balance, gladiolus in a vase will last about 5-7 days.
Decorative Sunflowers - a bright summer flower reminiscent of the sun. The sunflower blooming season is from early June to mid-August. It's a fairly sturdy flower, with a sunflower bouquet lasting about 5 days in a vase. They are finicky, preferring cool fresh water.
Gypsophila - doesn't have a specific season, but in summer, Moldovan gypsophila fills the shelves. It's relatively cheap and, most importantly in this heat, resilient! Gypsophila is a universal flower for all seasons, not freezing in severe frosts and thriving in heat. The main advantage of gypsophila is that it's a dry flower, meaning that after wilting, it almost retains its appearance and will continue to delight you for a long time.
Soap Flower Bouquets - the cherry on top of our list. A modern trend in floristry, soap flowers are hard to visually distinguish from real ones and have a pleasant scent that fills the house. Soap flower compositions will delight your loved ones for about a year and don't require any care, just occasionally dusting them. These bouquets won't wilt during transportation, and they don't need special conditions at home (temperature, humidity, etc.). We can endlessly list the advantages of these bouquets because we've found no downsides. The price will pleasantly surprise you.
